From HotWheels' Official Ferrari Formula One Collection comes the 1966 Italian GP Monza #6 Ferrari 312 driven by  Ludovico Scarfiotti. For more information please see product description & image provided.

Ferrari brought out the twelve-cylinder 312 F1 to meet the new three-litre formula in 1966. Thinking that superior power was the answer, Maranello designed a V12 engine that could produce significantly more horsepower than their British rivals with the V8 Ford Cosworth engine. The first 312 F1 engine had 2 valves per cylinder, generated 360 HP, and carried John Surtees to victory in the Belgium GP. In order to improve its reliability, a 36-valve version developing 380HP was developed midseason which won its debut at Monza with Ludovico Scarfiotti behind the wheel. This was the first time Ferrari had won its home Italian GP with an Italian driver since Alberto Ascari won in 1952.
