Released in August 1963. Centennial Coal - 20th Birthday July 2009. Preston coal was established in 1989 when it produced 200,000 tonnes for both export and local industrial markets. Domestic coal was often delivered in 20kg bags. It became Centennial Coal in 1994. Today Centennial produces 20 million tonnes of coal per annum, exporting shipments of up to 125000 tonnes.
