Jim Richard's XY GTHO is known for winning the New Zealand Castrol GTX Championships. A title that he held for two consecutive years in 1972 and 1973.
The XY was powered by a 351 Cleveland engine and had a top speed of 255km/h, making the XY the fastest 4 door production car in 1971.
Only 300 XY's were ever built, making it one of the rarest cars ever produced by Ford Australia.
