1:43 Trax 1960 FB Holden Sedan - Two-tone Special: Grecian White/Twilight Turquoise - TR20
1:43 Trax 1960 FB Holden Sedan - Two-tone Special: Grecian White/Twilight Turquoise - TR20 By the time the FB was released in January 1960, Holden's market share was the envy of its Aussie competitors. This new body shape with its fins and wraparound windscreen has been often described as resembling a 1957 Chevrolet; that impression heightened by the FB Special's elaborate use of chrome. The FB brought many firsts for Holden including use of Dulon acrylic paint, more power and improved ride. The model line up included a van, utility, sedan and wagon with the latter two available in Standard and Special versions. At release a Standard sedan sold for $2214 and FB production until May of 1961 totalled 174,747 with some destined for Asian and South Pacific markets.
