November 1995 saw the release of the first two models with same the high-quality paint finish and detail embodied by the 'civilian' FCs. Trax No. TR13C was released in the classic Black and Silver of the Melbourne based 'Silvertop' taxi company and was an instant sales success. The release of TR13D in the striking Red, Black and Cream livery of 'De Luxe Red' taxis of Sydney broke all previous Trax sales records by becoming the fastest ever selling model released. By the end of 1995 these taxis' resale value had rapidly appreciated to almost three times their original retail price.
