The XW Falcon was released in June 1969 and had four engines options including the new 351 cubic inch V8. This model wears the badging for the 3.6 litre (221 cubic inch) six cylinder motor.

Introduced in mid-2006, the first XW utilities very accurately represented the original Ford products. Details such as the recess under the cabin rear window that provided extended load-space and an accurate interior were warmly received by collectors. TR66 was finished in metallic Lustre Bronze with its companion model in Diamond White. Their interior features included the column-mounted gear-lever, door armrests and even silver detailing on the tiny dash knobs. Exterior touches included tampo-print badging on the body sides and grille and hubcaps with centre embellishments. TR66 is a limited edition of 3,600 models.
