The XB Falcon was a very sharp facelift of the highly acclaimed XA range, with new bonnet, grille and larger wraparound tail lights. The GT introduced coloure-keyed bumpers, a feature that set the high performance Falcons years ahead of the competition in the styling department. The XB GT gained plenty from its Bathurst breeding, with only one engine available: the massive 351 V8, with transmission coming as a standard 4-speed manual or optional 3-speed automatic. Power disc brakes on all four wheels gave the GT surpassed stopping power.
The Opal Series XB GT Falcon has recaptured all the exciting details of the real muscle car. However, this latest release differs from the first two Opal Series XB releases, sporting an alternative original bonnet colour treatment - silver edged NASA scoops instead of the full length bonnet stripes - making this metallic Emerald Fire and Silver release even more unique.
