Lindsay Brothers recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary from when the business was established by Top and Peter Lindsay at the NSW North Coast town of Coffs Harbour. From humble beginnings with two second hand table top trucks that carried local produce to the Coffs Harbour railway for onwards shipment to the Sydney markets, the business today has one of Australia's largest road transport fleets. Over 570 vehicles and trailers carry more than 700,000 tonnes of freight annually up and down Australia's eastern seaboard. These include various sizes and makes of prime movers including the Kenworth T600 powered by a 500 HP Detroit Series 60 engine.
