The 2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 was held on October 9, 2011, at Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. The race was won by Garth Tander and Nick Percat of the Holden Racing Team, finishing just 0.3 seconds ahead of Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife from Triple Eight Race Engineering. The Kelly Racing duo of Greg Murphy and Allan Simonsen secured third place, completing a Holden Commodore podium sweep.
It was a thrilling finish, with Tander having to fend off a late charge from Lowndes as his car began to fade in the closing laps. Percat also made history as the first South Australian-born driver to win the Bathurst 1000
