1:18 Classic Carlectables 1973 Bathurst 5TH place Holden LJXU-1

1973 saw many of the great racing regulations changed, one of them being the race increased from 500 miles to 1000km's, which added 33 laps. The Gossand Bartlet pairing in the XA Falcon took the pole position with Forbes and Johnson at 11th position. At the start of the race Ford broke away from the pack but this increase the fuel consumption and allowed the Torana's to catch up. Forbes and Johnson got as high as 4th place but finished in 5th position.
